My youngest plays it But than he also plays many other Video games like Grand Theft Auto, Halo 2, Diablo, Gun etc etc. He is mature for his age and well we have a pretty open and honest relationship.
I am sure there will be parents out there who would take offence at the woo hoo in cars ad such BUT you never really see anything and well Now days Most kids know about those type things anyway.

I honestly think it should be the parent of the childs choice.
i also think it is important that a parent takes the time to check it out, Also sit with the kid while he plays the first time.

I honestly see no issue with it though. He has been playing with my game since he was 8

I'm 13 and I have played The Sims since I was 10. I'm not shocked at the woohoo scenes and I don't think I would have bee n at 10 either.

again, it really depends on the kid. i'm 14, and have been playing the sims since i was 8, and i was pretty mature at 8, but many of my friends at 14 certainly aren't very mature. just use your judgement, and phoenix had a good point with sitting with the kid while he plays the game. maybe you should try it first...

It really depends on whether the parent and child agree that there is a clear distinction between fantasy and reality. If a child tends to incorporate their make-believe into their real life, then the woo-hoo may influence their attitudes about casual, premarital sex. But that's true of all Sims, not specific to Nightlife.
