I am only ten and I have this game and love it and two of my friends are eleven and they both have it and more expansion packs. So, Yes you should buy it for her/him. He/She will thank you greatly for it. Trust Me. Hope I helped :)

I am 10 and i have the sims, unleashed, superstar, and vacation they are fun and of course they are okay for 11 year olds(but in vacation if you have a wooden tub ur sims can play in it)

I think the only thing you have to worry about is that the sims can die, but there are alot of kids from 9 years old who play the game and its OK.

i started sims when i was 9. but theres sex in the heart bed though. O.o; thats the worst thing that could happen. but i dont put it out very often unless i feel like takeing care fo a baby. o.o;

oh, this game is fine!the only thing wrong is the love bed.but you have a choice to put the loveed out.

when the sims are using the bathroom, taking a shower, ect. their bodies are pixilated, so it doesn't show anything. i let my 10 year old play it after i played through it once, and now i'm hooked lol! i think it is alright for a kid that age to play.
