Last poll was Sim Brother's final poll: did you like it. And as we expected, most of those who followed it liked it a lot, and want a sequel (45 of 86 votes). 24 people have voted that they did not follow it and were here for the news and downloads. To view all the results, go
here. The new poll is about the latest expansion pack: do you already have it, and if not, will you get it and when? You can vote on the right, or by following

883. GameSpot UK reviews On Holiday

More reviews of the latest expansion pack are popping up everywhere. This time,
GameSpot UK has reviewed On Holiday:
"On Holiday also adds two new interesting concepts - postcards and souvenirs. To maintain friendships with those left behind in the neighbourhood, sims can send them a postcard (although I found them hard to find in the resorts I was in) using a special postbox. Likewise, your sims can buy souvenirs of their trip which come back with them. Changes to friendships during the holiday still apply when the sims get home, although (like Hot Date) no time passes while they are away."

884. SV Review at IGN.com

IGN.Com has reviewed the latest expansion pack for The Sims: Vacation. The 4 pages long article describes the new features, objects and NPCs in the new expansion pack:
"All that brings us to today, and Sims Vacation, the fourth expansion in the series. The good news is that Vacation is as deep and feature-rich as Hot Date. But that's also the bad news -- Vacation never takes any step beyond Hot Date. It's pretty much just more of the same.
"
With an overall score of 8.0 (which is
not an average) is pretty good. The author of the review would've like to see it do more than Hot Date did though. For the whole review, go

The
Oakland Tribune has featured Will Wright and looks back on the successes he's made with SimCity and The Sims. It also very mentions a "
yet-to-be-named project" that Wright is working on. This probably is the
SimUniverse game speculated about earlier this year. Furthermore, it tells about Wright's interest in robots, and a bit about the BattleBots competition he participated in. To read the whole article, visit

The official Swedish site,
thesims.se has been launched. This is an official site for The Sims, in Swedish. The design is completely different from the design of the
official site for English and other languages. There's a newsflash about On Holiday (Vacation in the US, the latest expansion pack) that says it'll be released 11 April. This is the same date as in Holland. Most other European countries can already enjoy the fun of this new expansion pack.

The UK (and hopefully international) Hot Date patch might be coming out tomorrow evening, Maxis' time. On the BBS at the
official site a Maxis Official has posted this news. Hard work is being done on the patch, so it can be posted tomorrow. We'll keep you updated. If this patch is included with the European releases of Vacation, the latest expansion pack, is unknown.
890. TNHH 3.7 Coming very soon!

I've been working a lot on The Neighborhood Handler 3.7 lately. It is now nearly ready to be released to the TNHH group. There are only a few final tests to be done, but everything seems to be working well. Some of the upgrades are compatibility with Vacation, a more enhanced "Repair a Neighborhood" function, and the "Refresh a Back-up" option has been fixed so it now also works well if no expansion packs are installed. Also the manual has had quite a few changes: it now looks alright in Netscape 6.x/Opera 6 too. It has also been checked for typos etc. Besides that, also a few tutorials and a glossary chapter have been added. For more information - plus how to join the group so you can get it very soon - go to
the TNHH site.
