Besides the reviews, there's also an interview about The Sims PS2 at a Dutch gaming site, Gamer.nl. The interview is in English, and it has one interesting answer to a nice question in it:

Gamer.nl: "What do you think about a Sim Celebrity?"
Mike Perry: "Hmmm, it would be pretty cool if you could make your Sim become a superstar, wouldnt it..."

That does make it sound a bit like a new expansion pack called SuperStar will be coming. Also, the gaming site ToTheGame has added The Sims: Superstar to their upcoming PC games list - and not the Rumoured one. That means it's very likely we can expect The Sims, and perhaps an announcement will follow this SimDay, i.e. next thursday.
