The Neighborhood Handler 3.8 coming!
Coming soon to The Sims Zone: The Neighborhood Handler 3.8! I've been working on it again lately, and improved quite a few things, fixed bugs, and I'm now getting it ready for its release. It will still be a little while before it's all ready for the release, as there is still some work to be done for it. A lot has already been done though, and so I think I can release the program to the tnhh group in about a week. Another week later, it'll be released here. If you want to join the group for free, and so get the new version earlier than anyone else, visit the Neighborhood Handler Site.

The following bugs will be fixed:
  • Restoring to Neighborhood 1 doesn't delete the settings, web templates and the import folder anymore. This is the most serious bug found
  • Repairing a neighborhood will only work on existing neighborhoods
  • You cannot install two files with the same name at the same time anymore
  • A few minor fixes

But that's not all: there are a lot of other improvements too, especially when it comes to previews of houses, lots and families. The "Copy a House", "Copy a Downtown Lot" and "Copy a Vacation Area" options will be merged into one single "Copy a Lot" option. Previews of the selected shot are now immediately in the same window, so clicking a button to see it isn't necessary anymore. Also, when you save previews as bitmap, they'll now have a white background instead of pink. As if that's not enough: Exported families can now also be previewed, and you can see the names, pictures and biographies of the family members when installing them, or copying them to the import function.

If you want to manage your neighborhoods really well, then this new version is a must-have for you. For now you will have to do with version 3.7 (available here), but remember: version 3.8 is coming. Join the group to receive an email as soon as you can get the new version, or else keep checking The Sims Zone for the news.
