A precise release date for The Sims 2 has been given at the E3. A source "close to the game's development" has confirmed that to GameSpot. A September release was already expected, and some sites listed 6 September as possible release date. This, however, seems to come from Maxis or EA, and so 17 September can for now be trusted.
