Sims News of the Future
Everybody knows (or should know) that The Sims 2 has been delayed until the second half of this year. That can cause strange stories when the press is in a silly mood. GameSpot is playing with this recent news and has posted a feature containing (fake) news of the future. In an article dated 24 September 2005, GameSpot reveals details of another expansion pack for The Sims, the fourth after the first delay of The Sims 2: Playin' Sims. Expansions 8, 9 and 10 would be "Mowin' Lawns", "Doin' Taxes" and "Retirement Home". In Playin' Sims, Sims can sit behind their computers and play a game called "The Verts", a simulation game, to keep their moods up. They will have to buy expansion packs regularly to keep up-to-date. Sounds familiar? Anyway, read the whole article here. For more news from the future about other games, click here.

they should have made an expansion pack called 'sweet lovin' !!! It has new love and relationship objects and locations and a valantines day !!! Wouldnt that be cool !!!

I cant see how 'mowin lawns' would upgrade your games much. A wild garden that grows ??? You have to mow the lawn ??? what else ... a bit of a sad collective mind joined together to make this wierd attempt at making us laugh !!!

TAXES ??? Huh, since when does a sim walk into a shop and buy household objects ???

Retirement home ??? They dont age !!! they will soon though !!!

Nagging on does help realese stress !!!
sims are soooooo cool !!!

As said, it's "News from the future". It's all made up by the editors of GameSpot, so hardly anything of it is true (except the mention that The Sims 2 was delayed in January 2004..).

Well if they are gonna make any expantion pack maybe they should have people take a vote on what they want like maybe like having a washer and dryer maybe going to more real life but that's what I think. I also think mowing lawns and taxes will be BORING!! WHO WANTS TO DO THEIR TAXES!?!?!?!? Also they article said that TS2 wont be released until 2006!!! 2006? How am I supposed to wait that long?
