New Sims 2 Screens
Even though the game's been delayed quite a bit, Maxis is still releasing new screenshots. Today we can show you another 4 brand new ones, which show what you will be able to do with the game once it's finished. There is a house and a huge mansion, some kind of lab experiment, and a business party. Simply click the thumbnails below to see the shots in their full size.

Is sims2 for PS2? If its not then that stinks they should make it for PS2. Cause the sims and bustin out for PS2 dont have a up stairs, you cant use alot of wall,You have a limit of how much stuff You can put in your house, and it should be on PS2 because the old sims and bustin out get boring doing the same stuff and having the same graphics.

You call house number 1 a mansion? Even my house is bigger than that.

Edited the news post. And no, The Sims 2 is not for the PS2 or any of the consoles, but for the PC only. The limits are because of the limited capabilities of the consoles - they often can't handle as much as a PC, and so placing too many objects in a house will cause performance problems. The lack of a hard drive (except with the X-Box) causes the problem that you cannot install any downloads whatsoever. They didn't implement that for the X-Box either though, probably because it might not have worked out so well, or perhaps because EA doesn't support X-Box Live, which is a requirement for the X-Box if you want to go online. Maxis has never given an official statement about that though.

the mansion WOW! I soooooo can not wait till I can build one of my own, I also love that they made it to where you can put windows and doors on angles, I hated that about TS1, good work Maxis, hopfuly they will put that one on a site to down load. so I can see how it was built.

sicne the capabilities of the ps2 aren't the best you can get, the sims 2 probably will never make the transaction. Even in the slightest chance that it did, it will be a very shallow game. No downloads, very limited objects due to size and no expansion packs !!! I dont think maxis are quite ready to realease a ps2 version yet. They are to hooked on finishing sims 2 ( AND BUSTIN OUT HAS ONLY JUST BEEN REALESED !!! ) THE PICTURES ARE GREAT !!!!!
sims are soooooo cool !!!
