SimDay: More articles
It's SimDay again, which means new links from the official site. This week: a chat with Dr. Vu (about SimCity 4 (Deluxe) and the Rush Hour expansion pack), some links, and The Sims Double Deluxe download pack #3. To start with the last thing: the third and final download pack of Double Deluxe is now available in a package of 1.74 Mb. It contains, tables, fountains, wallpapers, and more. You need at least Vacation, Unleashed or Superstar to be able to use the objects. They're already included in The Sims Double Deluxe, in case you bought that. You can download it (and the previous 2 packs) from Get Cool Stuff at the official site...

Next are two articles, of which the first one is a preview of Makin' Magic at GameGal. It's not too interesting on itself, but the final comment again states how bad Superstar was: "Let's hope this expansion will be devoid of the bugginess that plagued an otherwise enjoyable Sims Superstar. Then you and your sims will be free to make beautiful magic together." If you want to read the whole thing, click here.

Then there's an interview with Jenna Chalmers, one of the designers of Makin' Magic. It has 6 questions. The first one is about a designer's role, the rest is more about the game (what things Jenna and/or the team like most etc.).
"What were the most fun characters, objects, spells, etc. to design?"
"The Sims Makin' Magic was fun to design, because we could let our imaginations really run wild. Two things cool stand out. First, spells were really fun. For example, with "Shed Your Skin," you can change your character's looks into something completely different. Coming up with all of these looks was a blast. Also thinking of how and why spells can go wrong was a riot. Our fans are sure to laugh a lot."
You can read the whole interview right here.

Finally, there's the chat tonight at 3pm PST (11pm in the UK and Portugal, midnight in most of Europe). This time it's not about The Sims but about SimCity 4 and its first expansion pack (and the Deluxe edition which combines both). You have to be at this page to get to the chat by the time it opens. There's no more this week.
