What happens when you leave a toddler or baby home alone? Will the social worker come like in TS1?

No. I dont think that you CAN leave them alone. I think that wherever you go, they follow. However I'm not 100% sure. But I dont think that they can be left alone. For example, if you go to the community lot you take them with you. Or if not the game saves like in sims1 and the time at home freezes and your sim goes alone (unless he/she invites someone). It could be something like in Unleashed or hot date etc. I think that it will be either one.

if you go shopping or something, i think they come with you, but if you have to go to work you can hire a babysitter to watch the babies while you're goneÜ

Also older brothers and sisters can look after the baby/toddler!!!!!!!!
