Are family Friends different from normal friends in the sims 2 and how do you get them/keep them.

I'm not sure if they are counted per household like in the Sims 1, but family friends are their friends who are in the neighborhood. A good way to keep them friends is to invite them over, watch some TV, have a meal together, play kicky bag, etc. :D
