The red line is how furnished your house is.when its red you have al lot of furnichure, when its full you can't buy any more furnichure with out getting rid of some thing, depending on the size. hope this helps.

i noticed that you can put more than one specific type of thing in the house without raising the limit. Like a set of dining chairs for example, when you place one, the rating rise once. but when you place another, the rating stays the same because you already have that object in the house.
