It seems to me that women with women would be able to produce children but men with men could'nt.

in the game if u see the movie and read some of the chats they have said men can have a baby if abducted

When asked in a chat, the Maxis rep said "we are not trying to start a revolution." They will be able to "move in" together and be in love, but I don't think they will be able to actually get married. When together, homosexual couples will not be able to have children. Anyone whose studied grade one biology should know that ;) However, they will be able to adopt.

In The Sims 1, you can edit the gender of one of your sims with the transmogrifier. For example, you edit a male sim and change the gender to female. It will still look male but will talk and move like a female. You can then have him marry another male sim. They will both have Tuxedos on. They can also have a child.

About the aliens u'll find in the sims 2 theres a story mode that sum1 is abducted (a male) and they have alien babys which grow up into perfectly normal (well green) teens adults and elders
