Knowledge - Question

I keep trying to carve the wood but it won't let me. Do I have to be somewhere special or do something with it?

I was able to carve the wood at my house at any time, you just need a piece of wood and a machine.

That's not true!
You can't cut woods untill you've got a few mechanic point's.
