Eh? No you don't. Try going to http://www.simlogical.info/ and downloading SimPE for a start and then any technical questions the place to go is http://forums.modthesims2.com/forums.php where you'll find tutorials for modding and recolouring.

Do you man a Video Card??
Your computer Has one if you are looking at this page
and The Sims 2 requires a certain type and size they are fairly cheap 80.00 for a decent one at Newegg.com


Also a graphic or Video card is hardware that is installed into the Inside of your machine Not a downloaded software

I am Only Guessing at this since I have NO clue what a graphics THINGY is

Sometimes knowing what you are asking and asking in correct terms can help

I had to buy a graphic card.. and i spent less then $100.00 and it was well worth it.. so if u do u can call ur computer maker and ask them about it thats whats i did... and iam liveing easy... :) hope it helps
