Knowledge - Question
My computer is a 2 year old Windows XP from Dell. I have 256 RAM and an Intel Extreme Graphics Card, with a 1.8 Ghz processor (I think.) The problem is that the game requires a 2.0 Ghz processor at least. Does anyone know how slowly it'll run, if at all??

200Mhz in this day and age will probably make naff all diference. You'll probably have to turn some of the graphical options off.

There is no "needs" about it; that's just a recommendation.

You might want to get more memory though; preferably at least 512Mb.

I had the same computer specs. when i first bought the sims 2. The game worked fine at times but not always and sometimes the speed of the game would be very slow, and it would take ages to save and load. The best thing to do is to buy a new graphics card, i got the Nvidia 5200FX and it now works brilliantly

That'll be because the Intel Extreme isn't designed for major gaming.
