If you make a bunch of sim on the sims 2, and only play one for a long time, will other sims age along with the ones in the family your playing

I wish they did, but they dont. Only the sims you are playing with at the moment age. Sims or families not being controled do not age.

You can stop the aging of the Sim you are playing however!

It says in the manual:

Ctrl+shift+C

then enter "Aging off"

yes but you can turn the aging process on but that does it for all the sims in the house hold
