On The Sims 2 website (thesims2.com) it said 256 mb. Overall it really depends on how many mb your computer has

RAM is random access memory which means Everytime you open a program, it gets loaded from the hard drive into the RAM this is not what you have on your harddrive. ts2 will work on your computer
