Knowledge - Question

in the sims 2, if your sim recives a gift, will it just go away like on the sims 1 or will they open it and get something??

were not so sure about this i havent seen any pictures or videos relating to it but someone else might, guess were gunna have to wait for the game and find out.

in thr expansion packs u do open the present and see whats inside, but it disappears.
