So far, I haven't seen any evidence of this. However, I know that it is technically possible and it would make a really cool addition. So I don't see why not. If it isn't in the Sims 2 that is shipped this September, it will most certainly be in an EP.

how can u get bunkbeds? i really want my pair of twins to have some but how do u get them coz they arnt in buy mode?

i have a bunkbed for my twin boys, James and Jordan, i think u can download it at modthesims2.com as a hack. it isnt like a normal bed because they get on the top bunk in an unusual way. hope i have helped :D
