Blogging Maxoids
It's been a while since we told you what's new on the blogs of Maxoids. Several people have updated their blogs again, giving some inside information about what's going on at the Sims Division. There are also a few personal creations from Maxoids, so you can enjoy new sims and houses. Read on for all the blog updates since last time.

First of all there's MaxoidSam, who in December talked about how work on Seasons is progressing. He also talked about the first patch for Pets. It's for the BodyShop and fixes backwards compatibility with previous expansions again (more in our news later). He also tells the Race Car set from Glamour Life Stuff is now online and available for download (more about that in our news later). Some of the items uncovered by ModTheSims2 earlier are not included as they require code from an expansion pack, and won't work with the Sims 2 only. These are the toy box, dresser, armoire and rug. To prevent people having to buy a pack for some official downloads, they are not on the website. All items, including earlier posted downloads, will be included in Seasons, as Sam explained this month. Read Sam's December and January blogs for details.

Next is possible the Maxoid who blogs the most: MaxoidMoonBelly. Since we last reported about Maxoid blogs in October, there's a bit to catch up with. In October she talked about two parties at EA to celebrate the Pets release, and at Halloween she published a few new dresses as well as two houses. In November she talked about her start at EA, and how she still enjoys walking up to her desk to work for the Sims. At the time it was almost a year ago since she started working for EA. She also gives a little list of people to talk to for certain specific questions. In her second blog of the months she tells she has two new lots for you to download. She also talked about the recently released consoles, the PS3 and the Wii. Other games than the Sims are also briefly mentioned. Finally she said work on Seasons is going well, and that she contributed on some walls and floors for the pack. She also said that Todd in the Played-By campaign has been flewn in to help with some movies. She concludes her November blogging with some tutorials by fans concerning movie making.

In December MaxoidMoonBelly blogged another two times. The first blog is a long one, about two new outfits that are now on the exchange. She also explains why her content is featured always: to prevent it from being culled from the exchange. The Maxoid name advertises that the content is from EA employees. She also briefly mentioned the Wii Sims game that has been announced in Japan a while ago, with its own unique style and speech. It still carries the Sims spirit though, says MaxoidMoonBelly. She also mentions a little word puzzle game that you can play on your computer. In the second blog she briefly talked about the fan event about Seasons, and how the expansion pack will be a great one. Check out her blogs of October, November and December for more details. Also check out her Sim and Lot uploads for new items for in your game.

Next is a little update from MaxoidGrant, who published a new home in October, after his apartment. It uses just base assets from the Sims 2, and nothing from any expansion packs. Download his Fulton and Broderick home from the official Exchange.

Back in November MaxisLittleL posted a little update about the Happy (Festive) Holiday Stuff Pack. She mentioned some of the reasons why there are three different versions to buy, the new items in the pack, and why the mini pack of 20 objects is only available through download. Details are in her November blog. New Maxoid MaxoidGoonter blogged about his lunch in December and finally MaxoidDrea posted one of the first blog messages this year from Maxis, telling how everyone has the week off. She hopes everyone had a good holiday and safe New Year celebration. A happy 2007 from her, as you can read in her January blog.
