will the sims 2 be installed as a expansion of the sims making magic?

THE SIMS 2 IS A WHOLE DIFFERENT GAME!!!!!!!! it will have its own 'expansions'

The Sims 2 is not an expansion. No expansions from TS1 will work with it. If it were an expansion, it might be "The Sims: 3D". But it's not. The version numbers are different. I'm sorry if I sound snappy, but this is too common a question to be nice any more.
