Yes, you can have sleepovers. A townie is a sim that does not live in a home that you can play, and you can't control them while you are playing the game. They come to your house, and are at school, work, and community lots. You can marry them and have a sim ask one to move in with that sim. Hope I have helped. Good luck, and happy simming!
