I've tried installing sims 2 several times but it always hangs up in the same place 75% complete cd 3. Using XP pro,

it did the same to me so i went and bought a different one
I took the game back to Walmart and they gave me a replacement. Installed and updated video drivers. Games working fine!!! Just a bad disc..
Had the same prob but i dident take mine back.
I did a full system restore' Then it worked fine. I know it's a lot of bother and tiresome but it worked for me:-)
