Players will guide their Sims' lives as they grow up. You will be able to guide them thru key life phases including baby, toddler, child, teen, adult and seniors. In The Sims 2, actions will have repercussions, and decisions made when your Sim is a toddler, child or teen will affect their life choices and ultimate happiness as an adult. As your Sims age, they will collect a variety of memories over the course of their lives that shape who they are.

No there aren't going to be different seasons. They tried rain but it kept raining inside the house so they removed that. YES, Sims will go through the aging process. Infant, toddler, child, teenage, adult, and elderly. You can also turn off that aging process for the whole house. I don't konw how long each aging process takes but when you sim is pregnent she will be for about 2-3 days. and I think infant too will be 2-3 days. Hope I answered your questions!

It will be an option. You can set aging on or off per family.

I have heard that the babys will grow but i am not sure. Maybe you should ask the maxis people in the next chat in theSims2.com it is on thursday don't know what time though.

to me taking off the aging procees ruins the game because half of the people or even more want the game because of the aging process

I think the screenshot you mean was from the URBZ on the consoles, not the Sims 2.

If you're talking about the Sims 2, I don't think there is a cheat. There's an option to turn it off, or so I've heard.

The video of the girl in the tub while it is raining is outdated. That is no longer in the game. Personally, I feel that Maxis should remove it from their website to prevent this confusion and, effectively, false advertising. But that's just my own opinion. THERE IS NO RAIN. Sorry, folks. No seasons either.

Turning off aging is done through a cheat, not an option or button. You press Ctrl+Shift+C to bring up the cheat box. Then you type "aging -off" to turn it off. If you want to turn it on again, the cheat is "aging -on"

About 2 days before a sime moves on to the next age level, you will get a warning and have the opertunity to plan a birthday party. The Sim will still age even if there isn't a party, mind you.
