Introduction

If your Sim wants to follow in your footsteps as mayor of SimCity, then they should probably go for the Politics career. Although you'll never need any cooking or mechanical skills, you'll need loads of friends (17), quite a bit of Charisma and Logic and bits of Body and Creativity. The advantage is that as soon as you are a Congressman/Congresswoman your Social mood bar will go up a small bit. However, it doesn't go up very much and doesn't outweigh the energy it costs. This is definately not a career for those who want to earn big money, as the maximum loan is just §750. The advantage that comes with that is that hours are pretty steady and you'll never have to work during the night.
1. Campaign Worker
"The salary is minuscule, but you get your feet wet in the political puddle by helping a favorite local candidate into office. The job requires long hours managing telephone teams and volunteer groups canvassing neighborhoods for votes."
