| Sticky: I just installed the sims 2, and when I opened it up to start the game an error came up saying "Failed to find any DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapters" (or something similar). I have already got DirectX 9.0c, so what's wrong? |

| ok, I have a problem, I installed sims 2 and nightlife and they worked great.. then I installed a patch and it quit working.. so it told me to install sims 2 again. I tried. I get an error about ssx_p1lose.movie, I'm using a mac 10.4.8 any ideas? |

| Game exits to desktop. Comp is Sempron 3400 On Board SiS 761GX 128Mb, 1Gb RAM, XP Home. DirectX 9 tests ok. Computer meets specs for a non T & L capable card, but still won't play. Any ideas? Game works fine on other computer with ATI Radeon Sapphire. |
