The first new feature is this - the announcements. Whenever something important is going to happen, we'll inform you through these announcements. They'll appear at the top of the homepage.

You might also have noticed the headlines right under the announcement. These headlines are the latest news bits posted at The Sims Zone. You can also directly see the latest files that you can download. If the headline or file is new to you - so if it wasn't on the site yet when you visited the last time - it'll be marked. This makes it easy for you to see what is new and what's not. You need to have cookies enabled for it to work though.

In the files section there have also been some major upgrades, the biggest one being the preview pictures. From now on, you can see what you'll be downloading before actually downloading it. And as you might have noticed we like statistics. That's why the amount of times a file has been downloaded will now be counted too. That way, you can easily see what the most popular files are.

The last upgrade done is in the polls. We can now hide the results of a poll when it's still open. We won't use this normally, but we will in the case of SimBrother eviction polls. They will be here soon, so YOU can decide who is going to win SimBrother!

We'll keep upgrading the site continuously. Of course, we will also keep you updated with the latest news in the Sims community. Have fun here at The Sims Zone!
