The Add-on Handler 0.1.1b
After being told about a serious bug, I've now released a fixed version of The Add-on Handler, version 0.1.1b. This version will install buyable skins to GameData\Skins instead of ExpansionShared\SkinsBuy (or ExpansionPack3\SkinsBuy if you have only Hot Date). If you have The Add-on Handler 0.1b, it's recommended to upgrade it. You can download the upgrade version (1 Mb) right here. If you don't have the program yet, then you should get it anyway. If you have The Neighborhood Handler, you can download the upgrade version. If you don't, click here to download the full version (2.2 Mb).

I'll check it out and see what's wrong with it. It worked fine when I tested it last time, but something may have changed now causing it not to work. Could you please tell me what error message you get?

Also, the file should be called houseXX.iff (XX being a number). If it's just house.iff (without a number in it) then that's probably the problem. I'll make the program handle such files in a clean way rather than throwing error messages.

You can still use The Neighborhood Handler (right here) to install houses etc. That should work fine. You can download the upgrade version for that if you already have The Add-on Handler installed.

I've tested the program, and didn't run into problems.
Wolf: I've emailed you back about it
Other people reading this: Just so you know installing houses should work. If you run into problems too, please email me.

You can find it in your start menu. It's in Start Menu -- Programs -- The Add-on Handler. Files do not automatically open with The Add-on Handler unless you set that manually in Windows (I recommend not changing those settings though).
