In a German magazine, GameStar, there's a 'nice' piece of information from Will Wright. His new year's resolution is to release a seventh expansion pack (that's including Deluxe probably) for The Sims:

"Nach Die Sims Online wollen wir im neuen Jahr etwas vollig Neues machen. Mir schwebt ein siebtes Addon fr Die Sims vor. Oder ganz anderes: Die Sums, ber das Leben in einem Bienenstock. Or The Sams, orphins with spots in the face fulfilling wishes. What? That already exists?"The new expansion pack he talks about is probably 'The Sims Superstar' which we mentioned earlier. Not everybody's waiting for another expansion pack though. If you want to give us your opinion, then comment to this post. The completely new thing could be The Sims 2 or the GameCube and X-Box versions of The Sims we posted about yesterday, or even an online version of SimCity (read this interview). Once there are more details about any new products from Maxis, we will let you know.
