Another Sims 2 Preview
Gigex has posted a preview of The Sims 2. It's not very interesting, and the facts aren't completely true as they say the game's been delayed until 2005 (while it will come out this year, 2004). I wouldn't worry about them saying 2005... EA are saying(see gamespot article) that it will come out the sometime in fiscal year 2005... which equates to July 2004 onwards.

What? I heard it would be on Feb. 14. Then they delayed; we all know that. Then it was on March 14; they postponed for a while again, but I remember somewhere reading it will come out later this year. Bag the crap you heard about 2005!

He didn't say anything about it being launched in the Year 2005, he said 2004 (July+), which is equivelant to "Fiscal 2005"

I am checking out this preveiw (Feb. 11 6:22 est time) and now they are saying the release date of the sims 2 was
01-12-04! *looks confused* I thought that it wasnt released yet???

The date says "2004-12-01" which is in Year-Month-Day format (used quite regularly in the IT industry really, because it's easy to sort). So it says 1 December 2004, because the date is currently unknown.
