The interaction menu only stays for a second, any ideas?

Let me make it a bit clearer,

the interaction menu is the menu thing that comes up when you click on a person or something. Its the menu which you use to get your sims to do something.

For me, I click on something, the menu comes up and then dissapears.

I tried restarting, I reinstalled all my expansion packs (pets and university) and everything, I removed nearly all the sims files and tried agian, and none of that helped.

I think it could either be the body shop, because I was mucking around with it before that. Or it could be the cheats, because I was cheating just when I got into it. Or it could be something with my computer, because I got 2 cpus or something like that.

Though its really weird, my brothers and sisters have the exact same computer and nothings happened like this to them.

Any ideas?

And yeah, I do meet the minimum requirements.

It happens to me, but only for a second. Restarting helped.
