Knowledge - Question

I've heard you can make houses of extended families. Does that mean more than eight Sims can live in a house?

no the number is still eight. The people at Maxis want it so that it will be easy for the player to control the sims. If there were more than eight people it would be really hard for the player to take care of thier sims because there would be too many of them.
