In sims2 on PS2 how do you unlock fashions?

you can get fashion by getting a relationship 100 percent with a sim. i got mine with torin

you could also use a cheat

pause the game do the cheat gnome L1, R1, Up, X, R2 then do this Square, R2, Down, Right, Square to unlock all fashions
