Knowledge - Question

I uninstalled the Sims and all the expanision packs from my computer a while ago, and now when i try to install the same deluxe edition on the same computer it installs ok but wont load up. What shall i do?

This isn't an answer, so sorry about that, but i'm having the same issue, but with the sims 2! It's really annoying, coz my computer is brand new and upto date!!!!!
