Is there a thing you can do to get promoted faster?

To get promoted faster you need to go to work in a really good mood. Get your sim to eat, sleep, shower etc before it goes to work and you'll get promoted. Also make sure you have gained skills you may need for some jobs. E.g for a sports job you may need to gain a fitness skill by working out
