what does the sims 2 work with? Like do you need The first Sims to install it? sry if this question sounds dumb

It's a whole new simsgame, you don't need sims1 to play.

As for what it works with, there is a program that you can use to see if your computer will run it. I think it can be found on here, if not check www.thesims2.ea.com and they have a link to where you can find it.

The Sims 2 is a complete stand alone sequel to the Sims. You do not require any previous Sims product installed on your computer, and The Sims 2 is not compatible with existing expansion packs for The Sims 1.
