i have just got a new laptop and when i try to upload my sims2 disks it just stops randomly at around 26% complete. any1 have any ideas how i can upload it?

The sims 2 usually dont work on laptops bc of there small systems! Sorry!

What rubbish.

Laptops use special chips that are more powerful than their desktop counteraprts so in theory it's more than capable.
