If u make a store , there is like this little vegtebale shelf thing , and when u go to the store u can by them and take them home and plant them.

When you grow some veggies, harvest them and then click on your pantry and it will say "store crops". Store your vegetables and then you can use them to make din-dins for your simmies. Why put up with the same old boring maxis meal anyway?! check out c-and-c-enterprises and there is a really good fridge which has 28 meals in it including pizza, home made cake, curry, roast chicken and croissants!
