Knowledge - Question
My Sims 2 is extremely slow, you wouldn't believe!!! It takes ages for my sims to even walk one step! I know my computer is very old and slow but is there anything ( not expensive) that I can do to speed it up a lot cos I don't even want to play it now.

Think you've answered your own question.
Consider a new computer, because you can't throw anything at that one that will be cost effective or give you anywhere near as much a speed increase.

Yes, there are things u have to do, like update your computer, what i do is get my grampa who is a computer tech to do it for me, ask someone in the family, but it is definatly the computers rate thats slowing it down.

you can crack down your old computer and buy a new one. But remember buy a good graphic card (ex. Radeon 9000+) and lots of RAM. I've had this problem too and I buy several megas of RAM and that solves the problem.
