1st...you need a paint program.
Windows Paint will work but its not that great. I suggest Paint Shop Pro by Jasc Software.

2nd.... to make a floor tile, Click NEW in your paint program and make the new file 256 x 256 pixels.

Paint your image and save as a windows .bmp file. Save this file to:

C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Projects\HomeCrafter Plus\Floors

Final step, open Homecrafter, and select floor, then upload your file by selecting Create New.

When your done creating your description, price and name of floor tile, hit SAVE and it will add it to your game automatically.

**************************
Floor tiles need to be 256 x 256
**************************
Wall Panels need to be 256 x 512
and saved in the WALLS folder Not Floors folder
**************************

Hope this helps!
