Knowledge - Question

I want to uninstall my sims game when the university expansion comes out, but I would like to keep my houses. Is there a way of saving a neighbourhood to a folder, reinstalling and getting them back in the game?? Thanks xx

Yes as far as I know. I do not know what files are replaced by universty as I do not have a copy. however there is an option on uninstalling the sims 2 to keep your neighborhoods.
