What is good about private school? Is their a difference in the Sims 2?

I dont know what's better about private school. I've noticed that my kids seem to get better grades quicker there. but u have to pay to stay.

you dont pay, you just have to have a good evening with the headmaster

1. Chance cards give skill instead of money
2. Teens get out of school at 13.00 instead of 15.00
3. They start at level two in careers

Teens get out of high school at 1pm whether they are at public or private school, otherwise there wouldn't be any point in offering jobs that require a carpool to arrive at 2pm...
