just ignore them and don't do anything with them and social services will take them away.

yes if you neglect them social services wil take them away however you should make sure that's what your family ants otherwise you could end up with some v. depressed sims.

if a child is taken away, the sims who neglected them are no longer permitted 2 adopt.

if your sim kid gets taken away another family in the town could adopt them
