the evil evil social worker... grrr. there is no bargening about it. the social worker is even worse than the grim reaper.... grrr. i dont know the rules about what has to happen for the social worker to come round tho. you can hire a nanny tho, and they will make sure u keep the baby. if the baby is taken away by the social worker, the baby is randomly put up for adoption

To adopt a baby you ring on Service/Adoption Service and then randomly a baby come. You just pick baby/toddler/chaild. But if you already have a taken baby (from the Social worker) you can't adopt a baby/todler/chaild.

What makes the children cry? I have a male sim who has three children. They are have a good relationship with each other. One night two of them were crying. I made the dad hug them and give them a family kiss and they seemed fine but when he walked away to answer the phone they began crying again. What reason would they have to cry if everything was fine? Their mood monitor was not yellow, they were green and their happiness level was high not low.

Has somebody died in the family? Children do mourn, in fact they are the youngest to actively mourn somebody's passing, as toddlers and babies don't know any better.
