In the sims 2 will u be able to own a shop in downtown and sell stuff like clothes and gifts from it?

no I don't think you can own a shop but you can go to in to town to buy clothes games. If you don't want to cook you can go to a restaurant and if you don't have any money to make a pool you can have a commuity pool. idk but do you know how to send gifts? i have been trying to send new clothes as a gift to my persons boyfriend but i dont know how?
